Course Description: This continuing education course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and ethical competence of mental health professionals working with distinct populations—groups of individuals who share common cultural, demographic, or experiential characteristics. Participants will explore the unique challenges, needs, and strengths of populations such as racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, refugees, older adults, persons with disabilities, and individuals with chronic illness.

Analyze ethical, legal, and professional guidelines
Evaluate personal biases, privilege, and blind spots
